Our story

What we do -

We are based in the vibrant & bustling Blanchardstown centre Ireland’s largest destination retail centre.

Some of our roots can be traced back to the 19th century as plant growers and importers, even in those days linked to the Dutch growing tradition.

Along with our store we have a flower garden and studio in the heart of the Garden of Ireland, County Wicklow where we grow Irish seasonal flowers using sustainable & organic principles. These flowers are then used in our bouquets & arrangements throughout the year. Our vision is to be more sustainable as we aim to grow flowers locally here in Ireland, working towards reducing our carbon footprint.

We now have two 80ft polytunnels both with integrated irrigation systems. By midsummer we have these planted up with summer flowering annuals & perennials suitable for cutflower harvesting. One of the huge advantages of using a polytunnel is the extension of the picking season both at the beginning and the end. We sow all the annuals from seed, & in February and March between the peak flower retailing days of Valentines and Mother day we are busy sowing seeds and see the germination in our propogating areas. We are now growing much of our own seasonal foliage too.
